1. Cover your existing footprint: By covering the footprint of your existing kitchen, this will ensure there are no gaps between your new kitchen and existing flooring – if you are not planning to replace your flooring also.
2. Keep services in place: By keeping your electrical and plumbing services where they currently are (waste for sink, circuit for cooktop/oven), this will save in plumbing and electrical costs.
3. Repurpose what you can: If you are happy with your existing layout and wish to ‘refresh’ or ‘update’ your kitchen, consider replacing doors and benchtops, keeping your existing carcasses if they’re in good condition.
These smart choices will help you achieve a beautiful, functional kitchen while keeping your budget and deadline on track.

For most kitchen renovations, installation is booked 4-6 weeks from the time your project is passed through for ordering (once plans are finalised and all details have been confirmed such as appliances, materials, colours & handles).
The timeframe for installation depends on the size of your project and materials being used.
As an example, if you opt for stone benchtops, the check measure for your benchtop will be done once the cabinetry has been installed. It will then be a further 7-10 business days after the check measure before the stone is installed. Trades (electrician, plumber, tiler) will return to fit off & tile the following day/s once the stone benchtops have had time to set. In choosing a stone benchtop, the time frame to complete your project is approximately 3 weeks.
If you opt for a glass splashback, the check measure for the glass will be done once your stone benchtop has been installed. It will then be a further 10-20 business days after the check measure before the splashback is installed. In choosing a glass splashback, the time frame to complete your project is approximately 3-5 weeks (depending on whether you have a laminate or stone benchtop).
